Friday 21 April saw our Biennial Dinner at the Weavers Room in the Verdant Works. Around 35 members and guests enjoyed a fine evening of friendship and a good meal. Two new members were introduced into the Weaver Craft, Prof. Liz Bacon, Principal & Vice Chancellor of Abertay University and Prof. Graeme Morton, Chair of Modern History at University of Dundee. We enjoyed an interesting illustrated talk by Dr Andrew Cronshaw, and were honoured to have as special guests Ray Edwards, Deacon Convener of The Nine Incorporated Trades of Dundee and Bill Campbell, Lord Provost of Dundee. It was great to have a number of members of other trades there too.
