‘Wrighting Wrongs – the story of a Dundee dynasty’ is a commemorative heirloom volume that will be published in September 2025 to celebrate the lives of Frances herself and her family in Dundee from the 1720s –1880s. Her father, James Wright junior, is the foremost Scottish designer of 18th century provincial coins.
Written, designed and printed in Dundee, the volume will contain 160 profusely illustrated A4 pages, stitched and casebound, and limited to a maximum 400 subscriber copies. The cost is £37.50, inclusive of postage in the UK. All net proceeds from book sales and sponsorship will be donated to support local Dundee charities.
Purchasers
Every purchaser of ‘Wrighting Wrongs’ can have their name and town/city entered on a Subscribers’ Page in the book, thus recording their place in the Dundee community.
