On behalf of the Nine Incorporated Trades of Dundee, we feel a real and deep sense of loss and sadness at the passing of Her Majesty, while at the same time, a huge respect for the grace with which His Majesty King Charles III and the wider Royal Family for the way they have led the nation in our mourning.

The Late Queen, who acceded to the throne on February 6, 1952, upon the death of her father, George VI, has served her country for the past 70 years through war, peace, social upheaval and technological revolution, a symbol of continuity and steadfast devotion to duty while the world changed around her. She has led at all times with a quiet determination and selfless devotion, representing all that is the very best in us.

Together we join the Royal Family and the nation in their grief and offer the Royal Family our heartfelt condolences. Today we bid farewell to a great monarch and welcome His Majesty King Charles III to the throne. God save The King.
