On Friday 25th October Deacon Brian McLeod welcomed craft members and guests to the Annual AGM and Dinner held at Verdant Works. Speakers included newly inducted Deacon Convener John Fyffe MBE who gave a introductory report of his plans for the future of The Nine, building on the back of the passion and enthusiasm of the past Deacon Convener, Ray Edwards.

Jackie McKenzie, founder and Director of Braw Tea Social Enterprise gave an inspiring presentation of the work carried out by her fledgling organisation that has already had an amazing impact on the lives of the volunteers and the local people of Broughty Ferry. Fiona McLellan delivered a presentation on the enterprising work carried out by Business Gateway. Supporting young business’ to get off the ground and on through their development, sometimes to become the SME’s in Dundee and the surrounding area of Tayside. Boxmaster, Roy McLellan ended the evening with the Vote of Thanks.
